Korean Spicy Chicken with a Special Recipe



- 450g chicken wing or thigh

- 50g crispy flour

- 1 teaspoon seasoning powder

- 1 egg

- A few cloves of garlic

- 1 shallot

- A few scallions 

- Sesame seeds


- 1.5 teaspoons korean gochujang

- 1 teaspoon sugar

- 3 teaspoons chili powder

- 3 teaspoons chili sauce

- 3 teaspoons ketchup

Ingredients Proccesing 

- Chop the chicken wings into moderate pieces.

- Chop the shallot, scallion and garlic up into small pieces.


Step 1:

- Marinate the chicken wing pieces with 1 teaspoon seasoning powder, 50g crispy flour and crack an egg in chicken wing part, then mix well. Marinating time is about 15-20 minutes.

Step 2:

- Pour a large amount of the cooking oil in a pan and fry the chicken wing pieces until they have yellowish brown. 

Step 3:

- After frying, take them out of the pan and add little bit of cooking oil to the pan and stir-fry the shallot and garlic pieces until they have good smell. (*Note: If you are person who like spicy dishes, you can add a little bit of chopped fresh chilli to the pan to stir-fry it with the shallot and garlic).

- Next add 1.5 teaspoons korean gochujang3 teaspoons chili sauce, 3 teaspoons ketchup and 3 teaspoons chili powder to the pan. Finally, pour a little bit of water in it and add 1 teaspoon sugar to the mixture, then stir well.

(*Note: You can adjust the spices above until they are suitable for your taste.)

Step 4:

- After the sauce is finished, next put all chicken wing pieces in the mixture, and mix well them with the sauce part. After finishing, put all chicken wing pieces in a plate and sprinkle the sesame seeds as well as put the scallion pieces on surface of the dish.

So, our dish is done that is only in a short time. This is a great dish which is really suitable for those who like spicy dishes.
